Christmas Lights!!!!!!!
The kids like to play a game in the car where they try to be the first one to spot Christmas lights. When they see lights they usually yell at the top of their lungs CHRISTMAS LIGHTS!!!!!!
Here are our Christmas Lights on our Balcony. We are the ones with the zigzag lights that look like Christmas Tree (2nd Floor).
“I’m not cute. I’m awesome!” -Dimitri
Fashionista
The morning of this picture I asked Katina to pick out her clothes. I was curious to see what she would grab. Here you have it. Stripes shirt with a polka dot heart. Striped legging. A patriotic star skirt. She has some serious style! For now, I think I will see how long Katina will let me pick out her clothes. So far she doesn’t mind too much even though she would love to wear a skirt every day if she could.

I love the FREE shirt I received from UT.
Dear Anita, Enjoy your free shirt now give us your money. Thanks for graduating! Yours Truly, The University of Texas at Austin
Too Sweet!
Don’t be fooled Dimitri was probably just about to wrestle with Katina. Don’t worry though… It’s a pretty fair fight (and I don’t mean that Dimitri is a wimp).

Why so sad Karmen?
Cinnamon Rolls
This it the first time that I made cinnamon rolls from scratch. I usually just buy the Pillsbury ones that come in a tube. These were really yummy!
Wool Vest (Vogue 7644)
Byron asked me to make him a vest… so I did. I started on Tuesday and was done by Saturday (during thanksgiving). Here is the finished product. I really enjoy sewing. It is like a puzzle out of fabric!

Thanksgiving 2010
For this past Thanksgiving we stayed home. It was nice. No one was sick this year which was FANTASTIC. The past 2 Thanksgivings we have been sick and had to miss out on Thanksgiving Day Family Fun.
I brined a turkey. Thanks Nikki for the recipe. It was awesome. Also, I was able to test out new recipes I found online. My tiny stove/oven did a really good job. I wasn’t sure if it was up to the test. I mean this stove is TINY! But everything turned out great.
Byron asked me to sew his vest so he could wear it on Sunday. It was Tuesday when he asked me to start it. Wool Vest + thanksgiving cooking = a really busy fun week. More on the vest later.
Byron and the kids set the table in the living room. It is the largest space we have in our apartment. We used our kitchen table and our plastic folding table and pushed them together to make one large square.
